Dear Emergency Medicine Colleague,
We invite you to complete a short anonymous online international survey about which ECG findings Emergency Medicine clinicians believe warrant urgent senior medical review.
Not all ECGs require urgent review, yet all are currently treated as urgent, which contributes to repeated workflow interruptions. Prioritising ECGs may be the solution.
Your participation in this survey will help define international consensus, and inform the design of future decision-support tools.
You can participate if you are an Emergency Medicine Specialist or Trainee currently practising in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada or the UK.
No identifiable information is collected. Participation is voluntary and has no impact on your employment, training, or professional standing.
The Consensus on urgent ECG screening in the Emergency Department (CUES-ED) research study has ethical approval from the Metro North Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC/2026/MNH/125839).
